Holistic Fitness Coaching for Long-Term Health and Resilience
Mind Body Fit provides individualized holistic fitness coaching focused on corrective exercise, nutrition, lifestyle design, and stress management. My work supports people who want to move better, feel stronger, and build lasting health—not chase quick fixes.
In-person coaching is expanding to Lakewood Ranch, Florida beginning Spring 2026, with online coaching available nationwide.
A Whole-System Approach to Fitness
The body functions as an integrated system. Pain, fatigue, recurring injuries, and stalled progress are rarely isolated problems—they are signals that something is out of balance.
At Mind Body Fit, exercise is never treated as a stand-alone solution. Programs are designed to account for movement quality, posture, nutrition, recovery, stress load, and daily habits so results are sustainable and appropriate for the individual.
Assessment-Driven, Fully Individualized Programs
As a C.H.E.K. Certified Holistic Exercise Coach, every client begins with a comprehensive, multi-session assessment. This process allows me to identify underlying imbalances and create a plan tailored specifically to your body, history, and goals.
The assessment process evaluates:
Injury history and physical limitations
Posture, spinal curvatures, and pelvic alignment
Core stability and movement patterns
Flexibility and muscle balance
Diet, lifestyle habits, and stress exposure
The result is a precise, individualized program designed to improve function, reduce unnecessary strain, and support long-term progress.
Who is Paul Chek & What is the CHEK Institute?
Paul Chek is a pioneer in the field of corrective exercise and holistic health. With decades of experience working with everyone from chronic pain patients to elite athletes, he developed a system that looks beyond symptoms to address the root causes of dysfunction.
The CHEK Institute (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) is built on a whole-person approach—integrating movement, posture, nutrition, stress management, sleep, and lifestyle habits into one cohesive system.
Rather than treating isolated issues, the CHEK approach focuses on how all systems of the body work together. This allows for more accurate assessments, more effective corrective strategies, and long-term results that actually stick.
What Coaching May Include
Functional strength training supporting muscular, hormonal, and nervous system health
Whole-food nutrition guidance for body composition, digestion, and energy
Abdominal wall and pelvic floor conditioning for spinal stability
Muscle balancing and flexibility work to restore postural integrity
Stress management and recovery strategies to support resilience
Who I Work With
Many clients seek holistic coaching after conventional approaches—standard personal training, physical therapy, or medical care—have failed to fully resolve pain, movement limitations, or recurring injuries.
I work with individuals managing chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, metabolic and digestive challenges, and stress-related symptoms. Programs are always adapted to the person, not the diagnosis.
The Coach
Mike DiSapio, BS, C.H.E.K. Certified Holistic Exercise Coach
My career in health and fitness began in 2001 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I earned a degree in Kinesiology. During my studies, I worked in a clinical-grade wellness environment performing fitness assessments, personal training, and leading movement and recovery-based classes.
After returning to Long Island, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist under a cardiologist and later as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting. These experiences shaped a conservative, assessment-driven approach to exercise prescription.
My work evolved further through the philosophy and methodology of the CHEK Institute, which emphasizes whole-person health, corrective exercise, and lifestyle balance.
Today, my coaching integrates movement, nutrition, recovery, and stress regulation to help clients restore balance across all systems of the body and build sustainable health over time.
